Learn to use a pointed nib and metallic colours to create beautiful Christmas cards and gift tags, that shimmer in the light! This workshop is suitable for beginners as you will be guided through how to hold the pen, load colours onto the nib, and create calligraphy designs to apply to cards.
With demonstrations, step-by-step worksheets and friendly guidance, you will enjoy exploring how to connect letterforms with elegance, and add embellishments to your compositions to add that Christmas feel.
All your worksheets, as well as a selection of original templates designed by Kirsten Burke are yours to keep, so you can use them again and again. Everything you need for the class will be provided and suitable for left and right handers.
All the materials you’ll need are provided and refreshments will be supplied on arrival. There is plenty of parking available and if you wanted to extend your day, there is a lovely restaurant where you can treat yourself to lunch after the workshop.
